Aiqudo pioneered a new wave of technology with its Voice to Action platform.
Its Q Actions Platform bridges the gap between virtual assistants (like Alexa and Google Assistant), and mobile apps. Alexa must be specifically configured for the desired commands. Google Assistant will not invoke actions in most 3rd party apps.
Q was designed to enable users to give voice commands and direct actions within most popular mobile apps, bypassing the virtual assistant's role.

Challenges

After its internal team developed the core technology, there was still a long way to go before it was ready for POC, and they wanted to move fast because there was already interest in Aiqudo as an acquisition target. They hired Omniwyse to accelerate the product’s development on a tight timeline.

Intuitive Commands: Users don't have to teach “skills”. The AI Search system interprets natural speech to find and execute the right action, in the right app.
Large Action Library: Allows users to execute Actions in any mobile apps through voice.

Omniwyse incorporated SDK techniques that give developers optimal capabilities:

Used Method Swizzling to change the functionality of the UI at runtime.
Deeplinking that uses custom URL schemes to direct users to particular sections of the app.
Speech Recognition that integrates the Speech APIs framework for communicating with Apple's servers or using an on-device speech recognizer
Using App Analysis, Aiqudo has built the Voice to Action Index, the industry's largest independent repository of app actions and commands.
